Thriving Communities Fellowship
Embedding residential M.Div. students within the Ormond Center at Duke Divinity School
The Ormond Center believes clergy and congregations can play an integral role in helping their communities thrive. Through Duke Divinity School’s Thriving Communities Fellowship, we are helping to form the next generation of church leaders who will be able to lead with confidence and experience at this critical intersection of congregations and communities. The fellowship gives students the opportunity to witness and participate in our work of developing innovative solutions that address barriers to thriving; seeking peace, justice, and prosperity.

Fellowship Details
The fellowship gives structure, resources, and opportunities to the three-year residential Mdiv program at Duke Divinity School. It provides financial support that significantly increases the chances that our students will be able to pursue God’s calling without accruing debt. In addition to a scholarship that covers the full cost of tuition, Thriving Communities Fellows are also eligible to receive stipends for participating in internships at thriving ministries through the Office of Field Education and they will also have opportunities to work in the Ormond Center as Student Agents.
By the end of the fellowship, we expect that students will have—
