This curriculum is broken down into 3 modules:
Know Your Community
Building Contextual Understanding and Intelligence. Includes 1) Community Asset Mapping and 2) Data & Measurement.
Discern Your Role
Developing Self Awareness and Collaborative Discernment. Includes 1) Self Assessment 2) Empathy Mapping, and 3)Collaboration Planning
Craft Your Response
Implementing Solutions, Learning from Impacts. Includes 1) Rapid Prototyping, 2) Sustainability Planning , and 3) Pitching.
The Human Ecology Framework
Our curriculum employs the Human Ecology Framework, a unique ecological approach that helps communities:
1. Evaluate
the strengths and challenges of their unique context and place.
3. Identify
new solutions and creative partners to address city challenges, and much more.
2. Understand
how different aspects of social life influence each other in expected and unexpected ways.
4. Build
unusual coalitions that strengthen the social fabric and foster the common good.
