Macie Nantze

Community Development Agent

Macie joins us from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She chose Duke Divinity School because it provided the academic challenge to pursue theological education deeply and had a rich diversity to engage new perspectives. The Thriving Communities Fellowship with the Ormond Center interests her because it embodies how the Church can function as a Church in more than just the traditional way.

After graduation from Duke Divinity School, Macie hopes to become a professor and spark the same curiosity about theology, God, and faith in the next generation that she was sparked in her.

In her free time, Macie enjoys doing the New York Times crossword and baking bread.
